  • Identify and implement improvements to lab efficiency, capability, and reliability
  • Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new test equipment and lab upgrades
  • Execute small‑to‑medium scale projects related to lab systems, equipment, and process improvements
  • Develop and maintain scripts or tools to automate testing, data analysis, and reporting
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, facilities, IT, and external vendors to support lab operations
Desired Competencies
  • Technical / Functional Expertise:
You apply the required technical or professional knowledge to perform your role effectively and stay current within your area of expertise.
  • Critical Thinking:
You analyze information objectively, evaluate options, and apply sound judgment to solve problems and make informed decisions.
  • Collaboration:

You work effectively with others across functions and levels, contributing to shared goals while respecting different perspectives.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in powertrain testing, laboratory testing, or related engineering work
  • Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and engine subsystems
  • Hands‑on experience with engine or chassis dynamo meters and related control systems
  • Experience with emissions measurement systems and laboratory testing workflows
  • Experience with programming or scripting tools such as MATLAB, Python, or VBA
  • Familiarity with CAD tools for fixture or equipment design
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and software systems
