The City of Wyoming is accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer. Lateral applicants are encouraged to apply. Consideration given to Minnesota full-time policing experience for initial salary and vacation accrual rates. Applicants must be licensed by the MN POST Board or be eligible to be licensed by October 1, 2026.

The Wyoming Police Department is situated thirty minutes away from the Twin Cities and is footsteps away from Chisago Lakes outdoor recreation area. Officers work 11.5 hour shifts, with a scheduled 5-day weekend every other week.

2026 Salary: $39.22-$47.67 + 5% longevity at 10 years
