POSITION SUMMARY

A Line X Technician will apply Line X by applying basecoat and texture coat. They will coordinate with Line X vendors to maintain electrical and mechanical machinery. The Line X Technician will apply bedliner and flatblack to meet specs and uphold customer desires. Also, they will prepare individual parts by sanding and priming.

Night shift would be M-Th 4:30p-2:30a

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Applies Line X by applying basecoat and texture coat.
  • Coordinate with Line X vendors to maintain electrical and mechanical machinery.
  • Applies bedliner and flatblack to meet specs and uphold customer desires.
  • Prepares individual parts by sanding and priming.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

Knowledge, Education, and/or

Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Strong mechanical and technical ability required.
  • Associate degree in autobody preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in autobody preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Line X preferred.

Skills:

  • Language:
    Able to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Math:
    Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Computer:
    Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot.

Abilities:

  • Able to identify quality issues, recognize changes within the production process, and adjust as needed.
  • Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
  • Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.
