Position SummaryThis is for a night shift M‑TH, 4:30p‑2:15am. The Body Shop will start the paint process on the cabs. They will prepare the cab for prime by preliminary surface cleaning, grinding, applying body filler, and shaping/sanding cab.
Essential Functions- Clean cab using a wax/grease remover.
- Inspect cab for defects and document in build book.
- Sand area to be body filled, clean with wax and grease remover, and tape off areas needing protection from excess filler.
- Apply body filler to required areas with a plastic spreader.
- Remove excess filler and shape/sand body filler to a quality finish.
- Maintain tools and work area.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.

Experience:- High school diploma/GED required.
- Associate degree in autobody preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in autobody preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.

- Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books.
- Able to read and understand a tape measure accurately.
- Able to follow written and verbal directions.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally in a team environment.
- Math:
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Computer:
- Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process.
- Language:
- Abilities:
- Able to identify quality issues, recognize changes within the production process, and adjust as needed.
- Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.
