Mountain Grace Church in Dubois, Wyoming is a church family prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor who senses God’s invitation to walk alongside a devoted, Spirit-filled church family and help shape what He is already doing in our midst. We are looking for a humble, Christ-centered shepherd—someone who loves people, teaches Scripture faithfully, and is eager to see lives transformed by the Gospel.
A pastor who will lead the church to be centered on the full counsel of God’s word and prayer, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and growing in holiness and obedience to God’s truth, as we love one another and love our community growing to be fully devoted followers of Jesus.

The OpportunityThe Lead Pastor serves as the primary spiritual leader and co-teacher of Mountain Grace Church. In partnership with our Elder and Leadership Team, the pastor helps steward the vision, oversee ministry life, and guide the church forward with grace, knowledge, wisdom, Biblical teaching, spiritual growth, humility, and faith.
Key Areas of Ministry- Preach and teach the full counsel of God’s Word with clarity, depth, and grace.
- Lead weekly worship services.
- Officiate Communion and Baptism.
- Offer pastoral care, encouragement, and appropriate counseling.
- Officiate at weddings, funerals, and special pastoral services as needed.
- Provide oversight and support for the day-to-day operations of the church.
- Provide leadership and oversight for the ministries of the church.
- Disciple and develop future leaders and servants within the church.
- Encourage unity, faithfulness, and sustainable growth over time.
- Someone with a visible, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear call to pastoral ministry.
- Full theological alignment with the beliefs of Mountain Grace Church.
- Biblical character and spiritual maturity as described in Scripture for pastors and teachers.
- Seminary training in pastoral ministry or theology.
- Prior ministry experience in a pastoral or leadership role.
- A collaborative leader who values shared ministry and teamwork.
- Willing to operate in an Elder-led organizational structure.
- Comfortable with co‑teaching and sharing weekly preaching responsibilities with established teaching pastors.
- Established Elder team that values prayer, collaboration, and trust.
- A loving, supportive church family eager to serve and grow together.
- Established ministry teams and a shared leadership model.

- A congregation committed to encouraging and caring for the pastor and their family.

Key Responsibilities Preaching, Teaching & Worship- Faithfully prepare and deliver engaging, biblically sound sermons.
