Although there are 2 facilities 45 miles apart, facility needs coverage at the facility location at this time. - Patient Population:
Mostly adult, light pediatric. If yes, what age group of children does the locum need to be experienced in? No surgical patients under three years old, other than L&D Neonatal? Not outside L&D Trauma? Yes - Average Patients per day: 7-10
- Type of procedure locum will be required to perform:
Local and General; blocks and epidurals are required - Will the locum be working under supervision or independently? APPs are LIPs in the state of Wyoming
- Will there be an Anesthesiology Physician on site all the time? No
- Will they be working SOLO? Rarely, but yes if they are on call.
- How many Physicians and CRNA are there? We usually have 3-4 anesthesia providers (CRNAs and/or MDA/DOA) per day.

Dates:
- Facility needs coverage 2 weeks per month. The exact dates are not available as they are flexible in their schedule.
- Ideally, they prefer someone who can cover 2 weeks per month but they are okay with reviewing candidates who are available 1 week per month Mon
-Fri. - 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Douglas, Wyoming. 5,500 annual ED visits and ~250 deliveries/year. Specialties include: OB/GYN, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, GI, Neurosurgery, ENT, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pain, Bariatrics, and General Surgery. ADC ~10.
- Trauma Level: III
- Active WY State License or IMLC.
- Certifications:
ACLS - Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges, PALS-AHA issued. - Current Number of beds: 16
- Historically a surgical/specialty hospital in Casper, Wyoming. 45-minutes from facility. We are in the process of adding an ED (expected annual volumes ~12,500). Specialties include:
Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Spine Endoscopy, GI, Neurosurgery, GYN, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Bariatrics, Robotics, General Surgery. - Trauma Level: N/A
