Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Join our dedicated team and provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver high-quality psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and care coordination as part of an integrated behavioral health model. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide high-quality, comprehensive care to all—regardless of income or insurance status.

Your Role:

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
  • Collaborate with primary care, behavioral health, and case management staff
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Promote recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited college/university Nurse Practitioner program with current license/certification in the state of Wyoming, and current or eligible for prescriptive authority in the State of Wyoming
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Passion for patient-centered care and health equity
