Volunteer Fire District – Secretary
Clearmont Fire District - Clearmont, Wyoming
Job Description (Paid hourly)
The Volunteer Fire District is seeking a motivated, dependable Secretary to provide administrative support to the Fire Chief and Board of Directors.
Duties include:
- Preparing meeting agendas and minutes
- Maintaining district records
- Managing correspondence
- Monthly inventory checks
- Serving as a point of contact for public inquiries
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Professionalism when working with the public
- Basic computer skills
Must be willing to work from the district office, travel to Sheridan, Wyarno, Arvada & Ucross as needed, and work extended or irregular hours during major fire incidents or active fire seasons.
Position
:
Part‑time, paid hourly. Hours vary. At‑will employment. One‑year commitment expected.
