Salary Range
$40,289.17 – $42,328.81 DOE, Full-Time, Grade 12

Hours of work8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday-Friday.
Position DescriptionThis position performs administrative duties in support of department operations.
Major Duties- Answers phones; greets visitors; provides information and assistance; takes messages; refers to appropriate personnel.
- Enters and balances state assessed property data.
- Process Transfers of ownership and land splits.
- Processes agricultural land applications.
- Updates property records.
- Processes veterans’ exemption applications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Knowledge of personal computers and job‑related software programs.
- Skill in the provision of customer services.
- Skill in analyzing problems and identifying solutions.
- Skill in establishing cooperative and productive working relationships.
- Skill in performing mathematical calculations.
- Skill in operating computers and other standard office equipment.
- Skill in interpersonal relations.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education.
- Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with one to three years of experience or service.
- Ability to meet necessary requirements to become a Certified Ad Valorem Appraiser as mandated by the Wyoming Department of Revenue.
