We are seeking a motivated Supply Chain Specialist to design, optimize, and manage the end-to-end flow of materials and finished goods within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. In this role, you will bridge the gap between production and delivery, ensuring that life-saving products reach patients through resilient, cost-effective, and highly regulated supply chains (adhering to GDP and ISO 13485 standards).
CoreResponsibilities
- Inventory & Demand Planning: Develop and execute demand forecasts and inventory strategies to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with global vendors to manage procurement, monitor supplier performance (KPIs), and mitigate risks in the raw material pipeline.
- Logistics Coordination: Optimize domestic and international shipping routes, ensuring compliance with cold-chain requirements and customs regulations.
- Systems Integration: Utilize ERP/MRP systems (like SAP or Oracle) to track material movements and maintain data integrity within regulated environments.
- Compliance & Validation: Author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and validation protocols to ensure supply chain processes meet GxP and cGMP requirements.
- Risk Management: Conduct supply chain risk assessments to identify bottlenecks and mitigate "Critical-to-Quality" (CTQ) delivery failures.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations
, or a related technical field (Required). - Experience: 0–5 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or academic projects involving operations research and data analytics.
- Technical Skills (Required):
- Proficiency in Data Analytics (Excel/Power BI) for supply chain modeling.
- Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma or Just-In-Time (JIT) methodologies.
- Familiarity with the SCOR Model or GAMP 5 frameworks for system validation.
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 regarding electronic records in supply chain documentation.
- Preferred
Skills: - Experience with ERP software (SAP, Net Suite, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Familiarity with SQL or Python for automated reporting and data mining.
- Knowledge of international trade compliance and Global Distribution Practices (GDP).
