Regulatory Compliance Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
As a Compliance Engineer/Technologist, you will be an integral team member of a critical business function and a rapidly expanding discipline. This role will be responsible for executing strategic, proactive enterprise-wide activities to achieve and maintain material compliance with global regulations. This will require regulatory interpretation, data management, documentation, and cross‑functional work for products and materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Execute compliance activities related to regulations such as Prop
65, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS. - Evaluate BOMs and materials for compliance status and risk.
- Support lifecycle compliance for new product development and sustaining products.
- Interpret and apply global regulations to products, components, and suppliers.
- Prepare compliance documentation, reports, and declarations for internal and external use.
- Monitor and track regulatory changes and assess potential impacts.
- Coordinate with suppliers, labs, and regulatory bodies for compliance verification.
- Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and quality teams to resolve basic compliance issues.
- Perform special projects and other duties as needed.
- Working knowledge of materials regulations.
- Ability to interpret regulatory frameworks and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Chemical, Environmental Science or a closely related discipline; or equivalent in experience.
- 2–5+ years of related work experience in compliance testing, regulatory compliance, sustainability, or environmental science‑related field.

COMPENSATIONThe starting pay range for Minnesota is $74,000 to $92,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
