Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
Senior Compliance Engineer/Technologist responsible for executing complex strategic, proactive enterprise-wide programs to achieve and maintain material compliance with global regulations. Tasks include regulatory interpretation, data management, documentation, and cross‑functional coordination for products and materials.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Lead compliance activities related to regulations such as Prop
65, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS - Perform advanced BOM analysis and compliance risk assessments
- Drive lifecycle compliance strategy for new product development and existing products
- Interpret and apply global regulations to products, components, and suppliers
- Prepare compliance documentation, reports, and declarations for internal and external use
- Lead change management for regulatory updates impacting existing product
- Interface with regulatory agencies, laboratories, and suppliers as a technical expert
- Develop and improve compliance processes, tools, and documentation systems
- Mentor compliance engineers and analysts
- Perform special projects and other duties as needed
- Deep knowledge of materials regulations
- Strong leadership and cross‑functional influence skills
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity and complex regulatory landscapes
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Chemical, Environmental Science or a closely related discipline; or equivalent in experience.
4‑8+ years of related work experience in compliance testing, regulatory compliance, sustainability, or environmental science‑related field.
Travel< 10%.
CompensationThe starting pay range for Minnesota is $92,000 to $115,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
