About the Role

We are seeking motivated individuals for QML-Qt Engineer positions within our Aerospace division. In this role, you will design and implement sophisticated, high-performance user interfaces for flight decks, ground control stations, or satellite monitoring systems. You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that graphical interfaces are both intuitive for pilots and compliant with stringent aerospace safety standards.

Core

Responsibilities
  • UI/UX Development: Design and implement fluid, responsive 2D/3D user interfaces using Qt Quick and QML
    .
  • C++ Integration: Develop the backend logic in C++ to connect UI components with real-time flight data and hardware sensors.
  • System Architecture: Utilize the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize graphical rendering to ensure low-latency performance on embedded aerospace hardware.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure code adheres to DO-178C (Software Considerations in Airborne Systems) and MISRA C++ guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Required).
  • Experience: 0–5 years of experience in embedded software or UI development. Academic project experience in avionics or robotics is highly valued.
  • Technical Skills (Required):
  • Proficiency in C++ (11/14/17) and the Qt Framework
    .
  • Understanding of multithreading
    , IPC, and socket programming.
  • Familiarity with Linux/RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) environments.
  • Preferred

    Skills:

  • Knowledge of OpenGL/Vulkan for high-performance graphics.
  • Experience with DO-178C or ARINC 661 standards.
  • Familiarity with Version Control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
