Cognitive Assessment Technician

Position Overview

Focus Clinic is seeking a compassionate and tech-savvy Assessment Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work directly with children, administering computer-based diagnostics and interventions that help shape their care journey. Your attention to detail and ability to create a supportive, engaging environment will be essential in ensuring the highest standard of care. No prior certification is required—comprehensive training will be provided.

• Administer and monitor computer-based testing for children with ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems.
• Assist providers with diagnostics and interventions.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and test results.
• Support the clinical team with various tasks, including setting up and maintaining medical equipment.
• Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to children and their families.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

• Emotionally intelligent and mentally resilient personality.
• Experience working with children is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with technology and computer-based documentation.
