Nurse Coordinator - Pelvic Pain Program - Wyoming

Central Coast Community Women's Health Centre

Job Summary

Central Coast Community Women's Health Centre

  • Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain Program – Women’s Health Clinic
  • Help shape a new, integrated model of care for women experiencing pelvic pain and endometriosis on the Central Coast.
About CCCWHC

At Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre (CCCWHC), our vision is safe and healthy futures for all women on the Coast. For almost 50 years, we have delivered holistic, feminist, trauma- and violence-informed health and wellbeing services for women, by women.

Across our centres in Wyoming, Wyong and Woy Woy, we provide integrated women’s health care, counselling, domestic and family violence support, group programs and free onsite childcare, ensuring women can access care that is safe, respectful and responsive to their lives.

About the Program

We are establishing a new Pelvic Pain Program, embedded within our Women’s Health Clinic at the Wyoming Centre.

The program is designed to improve how women experience care for chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis by reducing fragmentation, strengthening coordination across services, and supporting women to better understand and manage their health.

This program recognises the complexity of pelvic pain and endometriosis and responds with coordinated, holistic, multidisciplinary, whole-person care.

About the Role

The Nurse Coordinator is a clinic-based, senior nursing role and a cornerstone of the Pelvic Pain Program.

Working side‑by-side with GPs, nurses, allied health practitioners and external specialists, you will act as a key case manager and central point of contact for women accessing the program.

You will support women to navigate complex care pathways, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and build knowledge, confidence and continuity across their care journey. This role blends clinical coordination, health education and system navigation, and offers a rare opportunity to help shape a new model of integrated women’s health care on the Central Coast.

The position is offered on a three‑year fixed‑term contract (likely to extend), part‑time, and is based at our Wyoming Women’s Health Centre.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Provide warm, respectful and trauma‑informed engagement with women accessing the program
  • Act as the primary point of contact and case coordinator for women with chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis
  • Conduct initial clinical assessments and gather comprehensive health histories
  • Support the development and coordination of individualised, evidence‑based care plans
  • Coordinate care across GPs, gynaecologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists and other providers
  • Support women to understand their condition, treatment options and care pathways
  • Assist women to navigate complex health systems and referrals
  • Monitor investigations, referrals and test results and ensure timely follow‑up
  • Advocate for women within health systems to reduce barriers and fragmentation of care
  • Contribute to service monitoring, data collection, evaluation and continuous improvement
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, reflective practice, supervision and professional development
Our approach

This role is grounded in CCCWHC’s feminist, trauma- and violence‑informed framework.

We recognise that women’s health is shaped by social, cultural, economic and biological factors, and that effective care for pelvic pain and endometriosis must be coordinated, relational and responsive.

You will be supported to work autonomously while being part of a connected, values‑led organisation that prioritises staff wellbeing, reflective practice and collaboration.

What we’re looking for

You are an experienced Registered Nurse who is confident working in complex health settings and values integrated, women‑centred care.

Education
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Experience & skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ nursing experience, ideally in women’s health, primary care, chronic conditions or similar
