Data Analyst

We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our team based in Salford, Manchester.

Salford, Manchester

• remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours:

37.5 hours per week

As a Data Analyst at Kier Construction, you'll be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets to support decision-making and improve project outcomes within the construction business.

This role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights, helping to optimise processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall project efficiency.

The Data Analyst will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure data-driven strategies are effectively implemented.

Your day to day will include:

• Analysing complex datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform project planning
• Creating intuitive dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Ensuring data accuracy and quality through regular validation processes
• Collaborating with project teams to understand their specific data needs
• Recommending process improvements based on your analytical findings

• You have experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI
• You enjoy turning complex information into clear, actionable insights
• You're detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy sharing knowledge
