HWE Hub Laboratory - Croxley Park, Hertfordshire (site near Watford). Up to £30,617.60 depending on experience.
We are looking for a reliable and professional Van Courier to join our courier team at our site near Watford. Although the role is based around our satellite labs at Croxley, Harlow, Stevenage, and Watford, the successful applicant will be expected to travel to various locations within the UK when required. This is an important role within Healthcare Logistics, ensuring medical samples are collected and delivered safely, securely and on time across our service area.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out scheduled and ad‑hoc collections and deliveries using a company van.
- Ensure all items are transported safely, securely and efficiently, in accordance with UN3373 regulations.
- Complete collections and deliveries within agreed time frames.
- Communicate effectively with the courier controller/manager regarding schedules, updates and any issues.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to healthcare staff and customers.
- Follow all company policies relating to internal governance, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as laid out in the courier procedure manual.
- Full, clean UK driving licence with 5 years driving experience.
- Previous experience of working within the courier or healthcare field.
- Good knowledge of local and surrounding routes.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
