Job SummaryThe Inventory Store Coordinator/Staff Assistant will support a Maintenance Department, focusing heavily on the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The role involves managing maintenance requests, work orders, and inventory, as well as ordering and receiving supplies. Additionally, the Staff Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for the Maintenance Department, handling various forms of communication and service requests.

- Responsible for accurately and efficiently processing Service Requests, Work Orders and Purchase Requisition s in support of the location Maintenance Team.
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate, organized inventory of required repair parts and supplies.
- Performs periodic physical inventories of all storeroom items and a yearly inventory audit with the General Accounting Office.
- Ensures labor hours and materials expended by the Maintenance staff are accurately accounted for and documented.
- Receives and processes all material deliveries made to the location.
- Answers telephone calls, 2‑way radio calls and responds to email, often serving as the location Maintenance Department’s first point of contact for information and requests for service.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have basic to advanced computer skills to include familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite and the ability to quickly gain proficiency in the use of the Company’s Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Must have an outgoing yet professional at‑work personality and demeanor.
- Must have the ability and aptitude required to effectively organize physical objects (repair parts and supplies) for efficient operation and accurate inventory of maintenance storeroom(s).
- Must be at least 19 years old and possess a current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record for the past 3 years.
- Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to adapt to working and living at altitude (greater than 6,000 feet above sea level).
