Job Summary:

The Branch Director is responsible for the overall daily operations of the Dubois Club with primary concern for member safety, community collaborations, programs, and service delivery. The Branch Director is responsible for recruitment, supervision, evaluation, and training of program staff; maintains accurate membership information in the areas of daily attendance, billing and collecting, and program tracking. The Branch Director oversees facility and transportation management, ensuring facilities and vehicles are in good repair.

The Branch Director is responsible for ensuring that youth have the highest quality Club experience possible. Additionally, this role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key community stakeholders, working collaboratively with business leaders, school district leadership, and other non-profits to continue the tradition of excellence and the prominent reputation the Club has in the Dubois community.

Leadership & People Management
  • Provide leadership and support in all Club programs, events, and activities
  • Build high quality programs with a continuous quality improvement mindset
  • Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and terminate all program staff and volunteers
  • Be punctual with timesheets and other time sensitive staffing materials and needs. Manage staff hours as needed
  • Establish Branch programs, activities, and services that prepare youth for success and that create a Club environment that supports achievement in our priority outcome areas of Basic Skills, Academic Success, Character & Leadership, Healthy Lifestyles, and Life & Workforce Readiness
  • Support the organizations workplace culture of hunger, humility, and people smarts
  • Model the way for all staff in programming, housekeeping, and engagement with youth
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate overall Club programs, services, activities, and attitudes
  • Ensure programs meet stated grant objectives, and member needs and interests.
  • Plan weekly, school year, and summer program schedules.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and problem solving in regards to guidance and discipline of Club members and act as the primary decision maker on member discipline and communication with parents
Resource Management & Partnership Development
  • Collaborate with financial leadership to make fiscally sound decisions regarding staff wages, facility and transportation maintenance, program budgets as well as specially assigned grant budgets
  • Manage Branch financial resources assisting in the development of annual program budgets as assigned
  • Operate within budget while controlling expenditures
  • Follow all financial standard operating procedures
  • Develop partnerships with parents, community organizations, and school districts to enhance program quality for youth
  • Elicit cooperation from diversified groups, and effectively collaborate with other agencies
Relationships & Marketing
  • Maintain close, daily contact with supervisor, and Club professional staff to interpret and explain organizational mission, program objectives and standards, discuss issues, and provide/receive information
  • Build a team of professionals who work together cohesively to accomplish the organization’s mission
  • Respond to emails and phone calls from other Club professionals in a timely manner
  • Elicit cooperation from peers and coworkers as needed
  • Provide pictures for marketing materials and social media posts on a weekly basis
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in related field or four years of applicable experience
  • Innovation-driven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete deadlines while maintaining a balanced schedule
  • Experience in personnel supervision, facilities management, and recruitment and retention of key personnel
  • Strong communication
  • Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents, and community leaders
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Wage: $23 – $25 per hour DOE
