Position: Lease Operator (I, II, III or Sr)

As a Lease Operator you’ll be responsible for the daily maintenance of a designated route or group of oil and gas wells. In addition, you’ll develop and demonstrate essential operating skills through ongoing training and by working with multi-well pads, compressors, and various artificial lift methods.

** Responsibilities/Expectations:
*** Conducts production tests and perform routine repairs
* Completes operational checks of assigned wells/equipment and identify and report changes in individual well performance
* Performs minor maintenance of equipment
* Gauges tanks and prepare for sale and manage fluid inventory on production facilities
* Lights gas-fired vessels/emission control devices
* Conducts environmental and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) audits to assess field operations, buildings, facilities, tools, and equipment

High School Diploma/GED and minimum six (6) months of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
* Preferred:
Associates or two-year technical degree
** Lease Operator II:
**** Education/Years of

High School Diploma/GED and minimum two (2) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
* Preferred:
Associates or two-year technical degree
** Lease Operator III:

High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
* Preferred:
Associates or two-year technical degree

High School Diploma/GED and minimum six (6) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
* Preferred:
Associates or two-year technical degree
** Physical and Environment Work Requirements:
** Must be willing to:
* Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
* Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
* Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
* Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
* Use hand tools
** Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:
*** Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as required
* May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays
** Other Requirements:
*** Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
* Demonstrates proficiency and ability to adopt technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
* Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
