What Will You Get To Do:
  • Effectively lead and guide a team of assigned material handlers
  • Prepare for start-up meetings which includes running and preparing reports
  • Run start-up meeting in the absence of the Supervisor
  • Ensure the team is prepared for each day’s activities
  • Monitor and guide the team throughout the entire day
  • Communicate closely with Distribution Clerks regarding daily plans
  • Monitor docks for proper movement of items including products left behind, misloads, or incorrect staging
  • Perform audits to verify that customer‑specific requirements are met for shipments
  • Promote safe working conditions
  • Monitor safety and mechanical aspects of the forklift and picker equipment
  • Load trucks using a forklift and picker as needed
  • Pick and label orders for external customers and preparing them for shipment as needed
  • Conduct inventory transactions using RF units
  • Performing quality checks and audit order accuracy
  • Requests assistance for any items heavier than 50 lbs
What Will You Bring:
  • Work Experience
    : 4 years of recent forklift driving experience in Shipping/Receiving, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record
  • Education
    :
    High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification
    :
    Possess a current forklift certificate
  • Computer Skills
    :
    Computer literate and RF Scanner experience
  • Organization Skills
    :
    Ability to efficiently work in a high‑paced environment
  • Cross‑functional skills
    :
    Ability to work with other team members on the production floor
  • Ability to efficiently work in a high paced environment
  • Speak, read, write, and understand basic English
