The Wyoming Retirement Center is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse ready to provide excellent healthcare services. The Wyoming Retirement Center is a long‑term care facility. This position requires an RN to provide quality health care to persons with mental health, dementia, and medical needs in a home‑like setting.

• Provides professional nursing services in chronic as well as acute care settings.
• Performs nursing assessment, diagnosis, treatment & evaluation of ill and disabled persons.
• Accurately prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Assists with ADL (Activities of Daily Living).
• Trains and assigns work to LPNs and CNAs.

• Knowledge of laws, principles, practices, techniques of professional nursing, and Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Knowledge of the maintenance of medical records, charts, reports, and observations.
• Knowledge of medication administration and mathematical calculations for the correct dosage.
• Knowledge of the aging process, medical problems, diseases, and behavioral issues.
• Knowledge of work management and leadership theory and practice.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to healthcare.
• Knowledge of ability to function and make decisions in high‑stress situations.
• Knowledge of good oral and written communication skills to articulate thoughts and medical terminology.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (typically in Nursing). 0‑2 years of progressive work experience. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an RN in Wyoming.

Alternative: 3‑5 years of progressive work experience. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an RN in Wyoming.

• Lift/transfer patients to different positions.
• Lift persons and/or medical equipment up to about 50 lbs.
• Work holidays, evenings, nights, and/or weekends as scheduled.

• FLSA:
  Non‑Exempt.
• Position is full‑time.
• Annual influenza vaccination and annual tuberculosis testing required.
• Follow COVID‑19 rules and requirements by CMS.
