Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Medical Solutions Plus Program
- Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program:
Medical Solutions Plus Program
- Phoebe Putney.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend Requirement Every other Call Requirement On call low census Holidays Rotate with Permanent Staff
Must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift.
Floating Requirements:
Med Surg floats to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care and JFW. ICU/ED floats to Cardiology, ICU, ED.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. Essential Functions
- Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status (including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate). Seeks and evaluates information acquired from other members of interdisciplinary team: patient, family, physician, non-nursing disciplines, support staff, others.
- Plan: Uses assessment information and critical thinking skills to collaboratively develop individualized plan of care. Actively seeks patient, family, team, and physician involvement to develop plan of care including needed education. Collaboratively plans and prepares patients for further support needs once the current episode of care outcomes are met (i.e., teaching, referrals, and follow-up).
- Implement: Directs the interdisciplinary care team via delegation, coordination, and collaboration as appropriate.
