About the Role

We are VCA Wyoming Animal Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. Our hospital is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team of compassionate veterinary professionals. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week) and paid $20–$26 per hour.

2740 Wyoming Blvd NE #1, Albuquerque, NM 87111.

• Celebrating the adoption of a new puppy or kitten with the new owner and ensuring a smooth start to their healthy, happy life.
• Helping a client with an older pet navigate changes and address concerns.
• Compassionately treating an injured pet to give both the pet and client relief and peace of mind.
• Working with doctors to manage cases, diagnose, and treat pets of all ages.
• Assisting in surgery or dentistry for preventive and more serious care.
• Providing support for the clinic cat, Mr. Burns, and caring for patients in a low‑stress environment.
• Encouraging teamwork, celebrating successes, and supporting one another after challenging cases.

• Proficient in venipuncture and radiology.
• Comfortable with running and monitoring anesthesia procedures.
• Ability to take quality medical history and provide caring nursing care.
• Strong client communication and education skills.
