Barista + Kitchen Staff

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Baristas and Kitchen Staff (MUST BE OVER 18 YEARS OLD) to join our DAY SHIFT team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. We are open 6am-2pm.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and DAYTIME AVAILABILITY, hours varying, including weekends. Food service experience is a plus, but not required. happy to train the right person!
All members of our team are cross-trained for kitchen and barista roles.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and providing outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction.

As Kitchen Staff, you prepare food efficiently while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards. Serv Safe Certification a plus (or willingness to obtain, paid for by employer).

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks with precision and care.
• Operate the Square POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations and dining areas.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies to ensure availability.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask during peak hours
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to assist with opening/closing duties, prep work, cleaning, and restocking
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
• Availability for mornings, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed

• No experience necessary
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Strong time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Familiarity with food safety practices and food industry standards
