As a Produce Clerk, you will ensure customers have access to fresh, high‑quality fruits and vegetables by stocking displays, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with product selections, supporting inventory, and adhering to safety guidelines.

• Stock and replenish produce displays, rotating items to maintain freshness.
• Assist customers with produce selections, providing product availability, pricing, and storage tips.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department, including cleaning shelves, displays, and work areas.
• Receive and inspect incoming produce shipments for quality and freshness.
• Remove damaged or expired products from displays and dispose of them properly.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and participate in periodic inventory counts.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of produce items.
• Collaborate with team members and department managers to achieve department goals and provide excellent customer service.

• Knowledge of a variety of fruits and vegetables, including seasonal availability and storage requirements.
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.

• Attention to detail: ensure accurate stocking and display of produce items.
