Fremont Motors is looking for a reliable, customer-focused Parts Counter Associate to support our technicians, customers, and service team. If you enjoy working with people, know your way around automotive parts (or are excited to learn), and thrive in a busy environment, this could be your perfect fit.

• Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Solicits new/current parts wholesale business for Fremont Motor Company; acts as a liaison with wholesale customers, by expediting parts requests to minimize downtime for our wholesale customers.
• Limited travel to the surrounding communities is required to maintain and solicit new wholesale accounts.
• Maintains an updated customer database, complete with contact information; email, phone and address.
• Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
• Consulting parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
• Answers phone calls within 3 rings, providing price quotes and other information.
• Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Assists with delivery of parts to wholesale customers as needed.
• Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.

Previous automotive parts experience ideal, but not required

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with computers and parts lookup systems

Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
