The Sheridan County Justice Office is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional individual to serve as a Full-Time Adult Treatment Court Probation Officer
. This position plays a vital role in supporting participants through accountability, supervision, and access to treatment services while promoting public safety and reducing recidivism.

• Supervise and monitor Adult Treatment Court participants.
• Conduct office visits, home visits, and field contacts.
• Perform drug and alcohol testing.
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
• Prepare reports for court hearings and staffing meetings.
• Attend court sessions and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Coordinate with judges, attorneys, law enforcement, treatment providers, and community agencies.
• Monitor participant compliance with court orders and treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based supervision practices and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Respond to participant violations and provide appropriate interventions.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in probation, corrections, case management, law enforcement, behavioral health, or human services is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Competitive salary $50,000 - $53,000 (DOE)
