Your Role
As a Quality and DTS (Development and Technical Support) Assistant (m/f/d), you will play a key role in strengthening our Quality‑Regulatory‑DTS stream within our Pet Food manufacturing operations in Beled.
In this position, you will support quality assurance, regulatory, and development activities, ensuring compliance of products and raw materials while contributing to continuous improvement and supplier quality management.
Your key responsibilities:
- Contribute to quality control activities, including sampling, inspections, and evaluation of test results in line with defined standards.
- Support laboratory‑related processes and ensure accurate documentation of quality data.
- Assist in new product introduction (NPI) and product development activities within the DTS stream.
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as Bills of Materials, Technical Data Sheets, and production records.
- Develop and update inspection plans for components and raw materials.
- Coordinate supplier‑related quality activities, including documentation requests and sample preparation.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers and support supplier qualification and complaint handling.
- Participate in hygiene checks, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives on site.
- Act as a reliable support within the Quality‑Regulatory‑DTS function, helping to strengthen and further develop the stream.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics as well as external laboratories and suppliers.
You bring a structured, detail‑oriented mindset and enjoy working in a dynamic production environment:
- (Bachelor) Degree in Quality, Food Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience, preferably in quality, manufacturing, or documentation processes.
- Strong communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence in handling data and documentation.
- Proactive and independent working style with a high level of ownership.
- Agile mindset with strong attention to detail and a structured approach.
- Technical affinity and interest in production and development processes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to take initiative.
- Open‑minded, curious, and not afraid to ask questions.
- Disciplined and reliable way of working in a regulated environment.
- Comfortable working in a production environment, including exposure to typical Pet Food manufacturing conditions (e.g., odors).
