Job Title: Carpenter Journeyman

This position is working on a heavy industrial construction worksite. The Carpenter Journeyman will work with the job supervisor to complete projects under contract. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with a team of professionals to complete these projects within the projected deadline and under budget.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Constructing, fabricating, installing and dismantling form work of fixtures of metal, wood, and other accessories, rod‑busting and concrete finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions.
- Document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned.
- 2 years of form setting, rod‑busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and adherence to applicable building codes and must be proficient at reading blueprints.
- Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Must be able to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions.
- Must be able to complete the paperwork required for purchase orders, time sheets, etc. and answer questions about the construction processes for field staff and other subcontractors.
- Must be willing to embrace the company’s core values.

Work Environment- Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
- Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment.
- Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
- Limited working surfaces.
- Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
- Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
