Advanced Service Technician

Job Summary

The position of Multi-Care Tech is an advanced-level automotive technician with specialized skills and training beyond those of a lube technician. Multi-Care Tech must be able to perform all Jiffy Lube Ancillary Services along with brake repair, spark plug replacement, Tune‑up, and at some locations tire repair and replacement.

• ASE Certifications preferred (e.g., A5 brakes).
• Problem Solving Skills.

• Valid State of California driver's license required.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use all applications on the company computer system to build estimates and invoices for the customer.
• 100% completion of required CBT for Orientation, Safety, HSSE, Courtesy Technician (CT), Upper Bay Technician (UBT), and Lower Bay Technician (LBT) modules.
• 100% certified completion of required CBT for Service Specialists and Advanced Specialists.

• The Multi-Care technician position will require the employee to regularly service vehicles, standing and walking for long periods, walking up and down stairs and climbing ladders, using hands and fingers, handling or feeling objects, reaching with hands and arms, using fine motor skills for small objects, sensory awareness, reaching overhead and laterally, moving materials from one height to another, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, working in awkward positions, transitioning between work levels, occasionally sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, bending, and performing repetitive motion.
  
  The employee is also required to communicate verbally (auditorily) and through written documentation and correspondence.
