Equipment Yard Technician

REIC Rentals is hiring an Equipment Yard Technician

We are looking for someone experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and passionate about quality and customer service.

• Meticulously wash and detail rental equipment before delivery.
• Inspect small equipment for quality.
• Manage the hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items.
• Enhance the overall visual appeal of the yard.
• Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business.
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator.
• Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent‑ready.
• Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard.
• Schedule Monday–Friday 7:30 am–5 pm.

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to meet all drug and alcohol testing requirements and commit to a drug‑free workplace.
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests.
• A strong focus on safety and experience with customer service.

• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes.
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays.
• Ability to complete other duties as assigned.
• Ability to comprehend job-related duties in both verbal and written formats.
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds multiple times per shift.

• Standing: 50%
• Walking: 45%
• Sitting: 5%
