Overview The Journeyman Plumber's key accountability is to manage the scope of work on a given project, and report regularly to the Operations Leader. Key responsibilities include managing a project on a day-to-day basis and ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate schedule/needs/materials with Operations Leader.
Recognize delays/issues and communicate with Operations Leader.
On-the-job training of Apprentice.
Follow a set of plans, making sure to have the correct set of plans.
Keep the job site clean and organized.
Layout and rough-in on the job from start to finish.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Responsible for maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of vehicles.
Responsible Quality Control of all aspects of the installation.
Follow contracted scope of work.
Complete projects on time and within budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
Wyoming Journeyman's License, Idaho License a Plus.
Boiler experience a plus.
(Required) Driver's License with clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Required Knowledge of:
Understanding of and Ability to Plumb to IPC Plumbing Code.
Ability to use a wide variety of plumbing tools and techniques.
Interpreting applying building plans to spec.
Maintain and Establish cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other subcontractors.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of Hydronic systems and installation is a plus.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
Ability to climb ladders and/or scaffolding.
Kneel, Stoop, Crouch, or Crawl for long periods of time.
Fine motor skills.
Work with different types of plumbing chemicals.
