Kitchen Mechanic

Grand Teton Lodge Company invites candidates for a Kitchen Mechanic position at Jackson Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Village, and Jenny Lake Lodge. The role involves maintaining and repairing all kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal operation during the season.

• Start‑up and winterize all kitchen equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Work outside normal hours when necessary.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, steam, and pneumatic systems, including solenoids, thermostats, and valves.
• Work on commercial dish machines and disposals.
• Assist with other technical tasks as assigned when crises arise or when specialization capacity is reduced.
• Participate in training, observe company policies, and promote environmental protection values.
• Perform any additional duties assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or related equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and successful MVR.
• Familiarity with Mobile work order system.
• Capable of handling moderately strenuous activity.
• Good organizational, initiative, and communication skills.

• Experience assembling or disassembling various types of domestic and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex equipment issues.
