National Field Service Technician Job Overview

We are looking for a National Field Service Technician to assemble and maintain heavy mining equipment on site across the Western United States. Responsibilities include assembly of Komatsu rope shovels and electric drive truck assemblies, field mechanical maintenance, welding, and machining in demanding field environments.

• Field mechanical maintenance and repairs on various mining equipment.
• Precise field welding operations following all safety and quality protocols.
• Travel throughout the U.S. to provide on‑site support, troubleshooting, and repair services.
• Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Perform field machining activities using specialized tools and knowledge.

• Able to be on the road 6 weeks at a time working 13–14 hour days.
• Certification in AWS D1.1 with successful completion of the FCAW welding test.
• Current MSHA training certification to ensure compliance with safety regulations in the mining industry (preferred).
• Completion of rigging training, enabling you to perform lifting and rigging activities competently and safely.
• 5G welding experience preferred.
• Experience in mining, construction, oil field, or other heavy industrial environments.
