Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Plains All American Pipeline is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to support reliable, safe operations across our pipeline and terminal network. In this field-based role, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems including PLCs, analyzers, transmitters, motors, and VFDs. You'll perform preventive maintenance, support commissioning and upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems for pipeline and terminal operations
• Troubleshoot and calibrate PLCs, transmitters, analyzers, and control systems to ensure safe, reliable performance
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment, including motors, VFDs, and control panels
• Support commissioning, start-up, and modifications of electrical and control systems in field locations
• Document maintenance activities, test results, and work orders in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to improve reliability and minimize downtime
