DAIS Shelter Advocates support victims of intimate partner violence staying in our emergency shelter, ensuring a safe, dignified, and empowered experience through trauma-informed care and the empowerment philosophy of advocacy.
They help maintain cleanliness, prep rooms for new residents, assist with daily living needs, conduct shelter intakes and orientations, and communicate community guidelines to residents.
