Construction Superintendent

DescriptionMetropolitan Companies is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our team! The Superintendent will manage the schedule and activities of the project for Multi‑Family Apartment complexes in Haverford Square by Metropolitan. Key Responsibilities- Leading the on‑site construction team and overseeing all construction activities
- Hosting and attending office and on‑site construction meetings
- Managing and updating the project timeline to ensure contractual deadlines are met
- Monitoring and ensuring on‑site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness
- Ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs
- Take meeting minutes, upload photographs and update project schedules
- Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals
- Maintain client satisfaction
Competencies:
- Construction knowledge and ability to read blueprints
- Ability to lead a team of subcontractors and field carpenters
- Proficiency with taking and uploading digital photographs
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Able to follow and understand Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial or multifamily construction
- Ability to comply with all safety procedures and policies
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent
- OSHA 30 training
- Proficiency in Procore or similar software
- Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance
