• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (required)
• Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education certification in music or appropriate related content area
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills

• The Wyomissing Area School District is seeking a motivated and student-centered 7-12 grades choral and general music teacher.
• Deliver engaging instruction using research-based strategies, differentiated instruction, and instructional technology.
• Assess and monitor student progress to guide instruction and support student achievement.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and respectful classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and instructional consistency.
• Communicate academic expectations and student progress with students and families.
• Support diverse learners, including students with IEPs, GIEPs, and English Language Learners.
• Participate in professional development and perform other duties as assigned.

• Qualified medical examination as per Pennsylvania law within 3 months of hire date.
• Valid criminal history check, child abuse clearance and Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal history investigation within one year of hire date.
