MDM Solution Architect

Our client in Wyomissing is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) to lead the design and delivery of enterprise data solutions within a healthcare-focused environment. This role will be responsible for architecting scalable, high-quality master data solutions that support clinical, operational, and enterprise business functions.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands‑on MDM implementation experience, strong data modeling expertise, and the ability to align technical architecture with business and data governance strategies.

• Lead architecture and design of enterprise Master Data Management solutions across domains (e.g., patient, provider, product, location, vendor)
• Drive multiple full-cycle MDM implementations from strategy and design through deployment and optimization
• Define master data models, entity relationships, hierarchies, and complex data structures
• Architect data quality frameworks, including deterministic and probabilistic matching, survivorship rules, and data standardization
• Integrate MDM platforms with enterprise applications using ETL/ELT tools, APIs, and messaging frameworks
• Partner with Data Governance and Stewardship teams to align MDM architecture with governance frameworks and operating models
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and executive leadership to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, integration, and data engineering teams
• Support cloud-based architecture strategies across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 10+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise technology solutions
• 5+ years of hands‑on Master Data Management experience, including multiple full-cycle MDM implementations
• Direct experience configuring and implementing enterprise MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, Profisee, or Semarchy
• Strong expertise in master data modeling, entity relationships, hierarchies, and complex data structures
• Advanced experience in data quality management, including matching algorithms and survivorship logic
• Proven experience integrating MDM platforms with enterprise applications using ETL/ELT tools, APIs, and messaging frameworks
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, stewardship models, and metadata management
• Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
