The Production Team Lead is responsible for maintaining adequate staffing and ensuring smooth production on their line, while upholding safety, quality, and company standards.

Production Team Lead Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate production and packaging staff.
  • Maintain staffing levels and ensure smooth production on the line.
  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
  • Train and mentor employees as needed.
  • Monitor production schedules and work orders to meet output goals.
  • Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
  • Communicate company policies, procedures, and job expectations.
  • Address employee issues, complaints, and grievances.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role with the ability to train and mentor employees.
  • Basic computer and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of good sanitation and manufacturing practices.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
