This role is part of Respiratory Specialists' expansion into Limerick and Wyomissing. The Nurse Triage position will support patient calls for both locations, providing triage and scheduling services as part of our pulmonary and sleep patient care.

• Engage directly with patients over the phone, conducting brief evaluations to assess the severity of their symptoms and determine the urgency of their condition.
• Schedule appointments with providers or refer patients to urgent care or emergency department based on assessment.
• Consult with providers as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
• Handle prescription refills and process prior authorizations as required.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma and graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
• Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of LPN experience, with 1-2 years of telephone triage experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  Current state practical nurse license and CPR certification.
• Language
  
  Skills:
  
  Bilingual (Spanish-English) skills are a plus but not mandatory.
