Food Service Worker - Dishwasher Position Posting

Position Title:

P/T Food Service Worker - dishwasher (3 hrs./day)

Location:

Wyomissing Area Jr./Sr. High School

Min. Wage Rate: $15.00/hour

Education:

High School Diploma

Responsible for all activity with student meal preparation. Duties may include: set up, serve, cashier, and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas.

• Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of quantity cooking and Food Service Operations
• Ability to multi-task, be adaptable and flexible with daily routines
• Ability to prep and serve food properly and attractively
• Ability inspect incoming food deliveries and supplies
• Ability to work in diverse environments such as: fast pace, extreme hot / cold temperatures, and high volumes of sound
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others
• Ability to complete necessary physical work, occasionally may lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of record keeping as it pertains to Food Production Record Books, Perpetual & Physical Inventories
• Must be reliable and have an excellent attendance record
• Must adhere to all Sanitation, HACCP and New USDA standards
• Work with computerized POS system and troubleshoot as needed
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others

• Prior experience working in the food service industry
• Current PDE mandated clearances and training (required upon employment offer)
