Part-Time Grocery Team Member

Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a part-time Grocery Team Member to join the Wyomissing crew!

Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. One weekend shift per week is required.

• Sundays 12pm - 6:30pm
• Mondays 9am - 3:30pm
• Tuesdays 9am - 3:30pm
• Fridays 9am - 3:30pm

Age Requirement:
Must be 18 years or older.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 hourly to start, depending on experience.

Benefits:
Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

• Provide excellent customer service to all
• Receive and stock all dry goods, cold beverages, household, and bulk items
• Rotate backstock on a first-in first-out basis
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage
• Perform KWF inventory management practices
• Assist the front-end department by scanning customers' groceries, completing transactions, and bagging groceries.

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing – prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
