Position Purpose

Night Replenishment Managers (NRM) are members of the store leadership team and oversee freight handling activities. NRMs supervise the freight unload, pack‑out, and pack‑down processes, communicate priorities, ensure nightly tasks are completed and freight moves smoothly throughout the store. This position teaches, coaches and trains associates on Home Depot policies and procedures, and ensures all associates work safely. At times NRMs are the only Manager available and must make business and associate decisions in partnership with appropriate resources and following SOPs.

NRMs provide input to Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers on associate performance through ongoing performance‑management and talent‑planning discussions. Although the NRM does not have direct reports, they participate in the selection process as needed. Each associate is responsible for providing a safe working environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and immediately correcting hazards.

Key Responsibilities
  • People: provide in‑moment coaching, partner with Night Operations ASMs on performance conversations, recognize associates, conduct quality walks, ensure training completions, assist with hiring, and manage overtime and schedule changes.
  • Replenishment: partner with Night Operations ASM to drive efficiencies, supervise unload, pack‑out, and purge pack‑down processes, perform quality walks, ensure freight is processed timely, keep the store ready for opening, and prioritize tasks.
  • Safety: enforce safety and hazmat procedures, complete safety training, require proper PPE, educate on lifting techniques, correct unsafe conditions, and maintain safe aisles and flooring.
  • Shared Manager On Duty: perform closing and MOD tasking, conduct hand‑off walk, validate store priorities, ensure store checklists, maintain equipment, and review upcoming events and ads.

  • Reports to Store Manager.
  • Zero direct reports.

  • No travel required.
Physical Requirements
  • Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment.
Working Conditions
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Unpleasant conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.
