• Possess or qualify for a Virginia License to teach with specific endorsements in Special Education Pre-K
  -12 General Curriculum and/or Special Education Adapted Curriculum K-12.
• Possess knowledge and skills in the assigned instructional areas.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for the teaching and learning processes.
• Demonstrate the professional and personal characteristics necessary to work effectively with students, school personnel, parents, and community members.
