About the RoleWythe County Community Hospital (WCCH) is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As a Billing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate billing for physician clinics, supporting the hospital’s financial health and contributing to community wellness.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily billing and electronic posting functions for the physician clinics.
- Coordinate Central Billing Office activities related to ensuring the collection of funds for all billable services.
- Verify all claims are submitted timely and accurately.
- Demonstrate understanding of CPT, ICD‑9, ICD‑10, and HCPCS coding for all practice specialties.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- CPC or equivalent coding/billing credential preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year working in insurance and accounts receivable required.
