Seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist/ Sonographer for our practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. • Apply fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies. Apply gynecological ultrasound principles in the evaluation of patient. Adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography.
• Identify fetal anomalies, such as CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, abdomen, abdominal wall, genitourinary, extremity, placental, umbilical cord growth disturbance. Perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix and ovaries. Perform complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in‑office multiple gestation service. Identify gynecological anomalies such as fibroids, thickened endometrium and polyps.
• Make preliminary, equivocal diagnosis of gynecological and fetal disorders in the organ systems mentioned above.
• Operate General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines with proficiency. Continue to expand knowledge of latest technology.
• Maintain ultrasound logging records including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history.
• Prepare patients for procedures including and not limited to Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, an mioreduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound.
