WCCH ER is a 14‑bed ED with a Fast Track area to accommodate up to 8 patients. We are Certified as a Stroke Ready Facility with The Joint Commission. The ED nurse–patient ratio is 1:4. The ED is staffed with Nurse Techs, Monitor Techs, and RNs.

How You’ll ContributeA Manager who excels in this role:
- Oversee the activities of the ED and assigned staff during scheduled shifts
- Provide patient care.
- Enhance department workflow.
- Provide leadership at the point of care.
- Understand, communicate, and react effectively to patient and family needs.

Applicants should have a current state RN license or compact licensure.
Additional Requirements Include- Basic Life Support certification is required at hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
- Three to five years’ experience as a staff nurse within ER department.
- CEN preferred.
- Handle with care within one year of date of hire.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Knowledge of Med Host electronic health records strongly preferred.
