Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Schedule:

Full Time Days, 7a-7p, rotating weekends

Wythe County Community Hospital is a 100‑bed acute care hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the Wythe County community for over 53 years, as part of Lifepoint Health.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
• Floats to various clinical areas where qualified and competent

• Applicants must have a current VA or compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.
• Handle with Care within one year of hire.
